Worked with Marketwire's development team to build a series of core line-of-business applications. Focused on front end development with sophisticated use of JavaScript/jQuery. Delivered completed features every 2 weeks as part of the project's Agile Scrum methodology.
Designed and implemented a suite of web applications to support the Professional Warehouse Demonstrators division of InStore Focus with their work with Costco and other vendors. Customer-facing applications were designed to provide order entry and product management while maintaining performance over slower links. Internal applications added internal business process automation including the generation and distribution of new contracts.
Worked on a project to integrate multiple systems involved in the billing process at MTS Allstream. Built a major new web-based application to modernise and improve the existing order management system.
Together with a group of associates, designed and built a major web-based system to support Deloitte Canada's corporate tax practice.
Worked with GSK Canada's INET group on the Smart Office corporate intranet enhancement initiative. The INET group received a corporate award for innovation at year end, and a number of the delivered subsystems have since been rolled out to the global GSK enterprise.
Participated in a workgroup that produced development standards on web services development for all GSK software developers.
Co-ordinated the effort to migrate an existing base of over 60 intranet applications from an existing NT4/ASP based intranet server to a new Windows Server 2003 based web farm.
Provided an offline system for Novo Nordisk marketing contracters to gather survey information on customer product utilisation and Novo Nordisk product market uptake.
Provided knowledge transfer to in-house developers on porting windows client software to the web platform.
